| CVE-2017-12188 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Extras Rt | 2025-04-20 | 7.8 High |
| arch/x86/kvm/mmu.c in the Linux kernel through 4.13.5, when nested virtualisation is used, does not properly traverse guest pagetable entries to resolve a guest virtual address, which allows L1 guest OS users to execute arbitrary code on the host OS or cause a denial of service (incorrect index during page walking, and host OS crash), aka an "MMU potential stack buffer overrun." | ||||
| CVE-2017-11305 | 6 Adobe, Apple, Google and 3 more | 12 Flash Player, Flash Player Desktop Runtime, Mac Os X and 9 more | 2025-04-20 | 6.5 Medium |
| A regression affecting Adobe Flash Player version 27.0.0.187 (and earlier versions) causes the unintended reset of the global settings preference file when a user clears browser data. | ||||
| CVE-2017-11225 | 6 Adobe, Apple, Google and 3 more | 11 Flash Player, Macos, Chrome Os and 8 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| An issue was discovered in Adobe Flash Player 27.0.0.183 and earlier versions. This vulnerability is an instance of a use after free vulnerability in the Primetime SDK metadata functionality. The mismatch between an old and a new object can provide an attacker with unintended memory access -- potentially leading to code corruption, control-flow hijack, or an information leak attack. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution. | ||||
| CVE-2017-0861 | 2 Google, Redhat | 4 Android, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus and 1 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| Use-after-free vulnerability in the snd_pcm_info function in the ALSA subsystem in the Linux kernel allows attackers to gain privileges via unspecified vectors. | ||||
| CVE-2017-1000050 | 4 Canonical, Fedoraproject, Jasper Project and 1 more | 7 Ubuntu Linux, Fedora, Jasper and 4 more | 2025-04-20 | 7.5 High |
| JasPer 2.0.12 is vulnerable to a NULL pointer exception in the function jp2_encode which failed to check to see if the image contained at least one component resulting in a denial-of-service. | ||||
| CVE-2017-1000085 | 2 Jenkins, Redhat | 2 Subversion, Openshift | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| Subversion Plugin connects to a user-specified Subversion repository as part of form validation (e.g. to retrieve a list of tags). This functionality improperly checked permissions, allowing any user with Item/Build permission (but not Item/Configure) to connect to any web server or Subversion server and send credentials with a known ID, thereby possibly capturing them. Additionally, this functionality did not require POST requests be used, thereby allowing the above to be performed without direct access to Jenkins via Cross-Site Request Forgery attacks. | ||||
| CVE-2017-1000095 | 2 Jenkins, Redhat | 2 Script Security, Openshift | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| The default whitelist included the following unsafe entries: DefaultGroovyMethods.putAt(Object, String, Object); DefaultGroovyMethods.getAt(Object, String). These allowed circumventing many of the access restrictions implemented in the script sandbox by using e.g. currentBuild['rawBuild'] rather than currentBuild.rawBuild. Additionally, the following entries allowed accessing private data that would not be accessible otherwise due to script security: groovy.json.JsonOutput.toJson(Closure); groovy.json.JsonOutput.toJson(Object). | ||||
| CVE-2017-1000115 | 3 Debian, Mercurial, Redhat | 9 Debian Linux, Mercurial, Enterprise Linux and 6 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| Mercurial prior to version 4.3 is vulnerable to a missing symlink check that can malicious repositories to modify files outside the repository | ||||
| CVE-2017-1000198 | 2 Redhat, Tcmu-runner Project | 2 Storage, Tcmu-runner | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| tcmu-runner daemon version 0.9.0 to 1.2.0 is vulnerable to invalid memory references in the handler_glfs.so handler resulting in denial of service | ||||
| CVE-2017-1000200 | 2 Redhat, Tcmu-runner Project | 2 Storage, Tcmu-runner | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| tcmu-runner version 1.0.5 to 1.2.0 is vulnerable to a dbus triggered NULL pointer dereference in the tcmu-runner daemon's on_unregister_handler() function resulting in denial of service | ||||
| CVE-2017-1000255 | 3 Ibm, Linux, Redhat | 4 Powerpc Power8, Powerpc Power9, Linux Kernel and 1 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| On Linux running on PowerPC hardware (Power8 or later) a user process can craft a signal frame and then do a sigreturn so that the kernel will take an exception (interrupt), and use the r1 value *from the signal frame* as the kernel stack pointer. As part of the exception entry the content of the signal frame is written to the kernel stack, allowing an attacker to overwrite arbitrary locations with arbitrary values. The exception handling does produce an oops, and a panic if panic_on_oops=1, but only after kernel memory has been over written. This flaw was introduced in commit: "5d176f751ee3 (powerpc: tm: Enable transactional memory (TM) lazily for userspace)" which was merged upstream into v4.9-rc1. Please note that kernels built with CONFIG_PPC_TRANSACTIONAL_MEM=n are not vulnerable. | ||||
| CVE-2017-1000410 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 13 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 10 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| The Linux kernel version 3.3-rc1 and later is affected by a vulnerability lies in the processing of incoming L2CAP commands - ConfigRequest, and ConfigResponse messages. This info leak is a result of uninitialized stack variables that may be returned to an attacker in their uninitialized state. By manipulating the code flows that precede the handling of these configuration messages, an attacker can also gain some control over which data will be held in the uninitialized stack variables. This can allow him to bypass KASLR, and stack canaries protection - as both pointers and stack canaries may be leaked in this manner. Combining this vulnerability (for example) with the previously disclosed RCE vulnerability in L2CAP configuration parsing (CVE-2017-1000251) may allow an attacker to exploit the RCE against kernels which were built with the above mitigations. These are the specifics of this vulnerability: In the function l2cap_parse_conf_rsp and in the function l2cap_parse_conf_req the following variable is declared without initialization: struct l2cap_conf_efs efs; In addition, when parsing input configuration parameters in both of these functions, the switch case for handling EFS elements may skip the memcpy call that will write to the efs variable: ... case L2CAP_CONF_EFS: if (olen == sizeof(efs)) memcpy(&efs, (void *)val, olen); ... The olen in the above if is attacker controlled, and regardless of that if, in both of these functions the efs variable would eventually be added to the outgoing configuration request that is being built: l2cap_add_conf_opt(&ptr, L2CAP_CONF_EFS, sizeof(efs), (unsigned long) &efs); So by sending a configuration request, or response, that contains an L2CAP_CONF_EFS element, but with an element length that is not sizeof(efs) - the memcpy to the uninitialized efs variable can be avoided, and the uninitialized variable would be returned to the attacker (16 bytes). | ||||
| CVE-2016-9922 | 2 Qemu, Redhat | 3 Qemu, Enterprise Linux, Openstack | 2025-04-20 | 5.5 Medium |
| The cirrus_do_copy function in hw/display/cirrus_vga.c in QEMU (aka Quick Emulator), when cirrus graphics mode is VGA, allows local guest OS privileged users to cause a denial of service (divide-by-zero error and QEMU process crash) via vectors involving blit pitch values. | ||||
| CVE-2016-9879 | 3 Ibm, Redhat, Vmware | 4 Websphere Application Server, Jboss Amq, Jboss Fuse and 1 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| An issue was discovered in Pivotal Spring Security before 3.2.10, 4.1.x before 4.1.4, and 4.2.x before 4.2.1. Spring Security does not consider URL path parameters when processing security constraints. By adding a URL path parameter with an encoded "/" to a request, an attacker may be able to bypass a security constraint. The root cause of this issue is a lack of clarity regarding the handling of path parameters in the Servlet Specification. Some Servlet containers include path parameters in the value returned for getPathInfo() and some do not. Spring Security uses the value returned by getPathInfo() as part of the process of mapping requests to security constraints. The unexpected presence of path parameters can cause a constraint to be bypassed. Users of Apache Tomcat (all current versions) are not affected by this vulnerability since Tomcat follows the guidance previously provided by the Servlet Expert group and strips path parameters from the value returned by getContextPath(), getServletPath(), and getPathInfo(). Users of other Servlet containers based on Apache Tomcat may or may not be affected depending on whether or not the handling of path parameters has been modified. Users of IBM WebSphere Application Server 8.5.x are known to be affected. Users of other containers that implement the Servlet specification may be affected. | ||||
