CVE-2021-47284 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2025-12-10 4.7 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: isdn: mISDN: netjet: Fix crash in nj_probe: 'nj_setup' in netjet.c might fail with -EIO and in this case 'card->irq' is initialized and is bigger than zero. A subsequent call to 'nj_release' will free the irq that has not been requested. Fix this bug by deleting the previous assignment to 'card->irq' and just keep the assignment before 'request_irq'. The KASAN's log reveals it: [ 3.354615 ] WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 1 at kernel/irq/manage.c:1826 free_irq+0x100/0x480 [ 3.355112 ] Modules linked in: [ 3.355310 ] CPU: 0 PID: 1 Comm: swapper/0 Not tainted 5.13.0-rc1-00144-g25a1298726e #13 [ 3.355816 ] Hardware name: QEMU Standard PC (Q35 + ICH9, 2009), BIOS rel-1.12.0-59-gc9ba5276e321-prebuilt.qemu.org 04/01/2014 [ 3.356552 ] RIP: 0010:free_irq+0x100/0x480 [ 3.356820 ] Code: 6e 08 74 6f 4d 89 f4 e8 5e ac 09 00 4d 8b 74 24 18 4d 85 f6 75 e3 e8 4f ac 09 00 8b 75 c8 48 c7 c7 78 c1 2e 85 e8 e0 cf f5 ff <0f> 0b 48 8b 75 c0 4c 89 ff e8 72 33 0b 03 48 8b 43 40 4c 8b a0 80 [ 3.358012 ] RSP: 0000:ffffc90000017b48 EFLAGS: 00010082 [ 3.358357 ] RAX: 0000000000000000 RBX: ffff888104dc8000 RCX: 0000000000000000 [ 3.358814 ] RDX: ffff8881003c8000 RSI: ffffffff8124a9e6 RDI: 00000000ffffffff [ 3.359272 ] RBP: ffffc90000017b88 R08: 0000000000000000 R09: 0000000000000000 [ 3.359732 ] R10: ffffc900000179f0 R11: 0000000000001d04 R12: 0000000000000000 [ 3.360195 ] R13: ffff888107dc6000 R14: ffff888107dc6928 R15: ffff888104dc80a8 [ 3.360652 ] FS: 0000000000000000(0000) GS:ffff88817bc00000(0000) knlGS:0000000000000000 [ 3.361170 ] CS: 0010 DS: 0000 ES: 0000 CR0: 0000000080050033 [ 3.361538 ] CR2: 0000000000000000 CR3: 000000000582e000 CR4: 00000000000006f0 [ 3.362003 ] DR0: 0000000000000000 DR1: 0000000000000000 DR2: 0000000000000000 [ 3.362175 ] DR3: 0000000000000000 DR6: 00000000fffe0ff0 DR7: 0000000000000400 [ 3.362175 ] Call Trace: [ 3.362175 ] nj_release+0x51/0x1e0 [ 3.362175 ] nj_probe+0x450/0x950 [ 3.362175 ] ? pci_device_remove+0x110/0x110 [ 3.362175 ] local_pci_probe+0x45/0xa0 [ 3.362175 ] pci_device_probe+0x12b/0x1d0 [ 3.362175 ] really_probe+0x2a9/0x610 [ 3.362175 ] driver_probe_device+0x90/0x1d0 [ 3.362175 ] ? mutex_lock_nested+0x1b/0x20 [ 3.362175 ] device_driver_attach+0x68/0x70 [ 3.362175 ] __driver_attach+0x124/0x1b0 [ 3.362175 ] ? device_driver_attach+0x70/0x70 [ 3.362175 ] bus_for_each_dev+0xbb/0x110 [ 3.362175 ] ? rdinit_setup+0x45/0x45 [ 3.362175 ] driver_attach+0x27/0x30 [ 3.362175 ] bus_add_driver+0x1eb/0x2a0 [ 3.362175 ] driver_register+0xa9/0x180 [ 3.362175 ] __pci_register_driver+0x82/0x90 [ 3.362175 ] ? w6692_init+0x38/0x38 [ 3.362175 ] nj_init+0x36/0x38 [ 3.362175 ] do_one_initcall+0x7f/0x3d0 [ 3.362175 ] ? rdinit_setup+0x45/0x45 [ 3.362175 ] ? rcu_read_lock_sched_held+0x4f/0x80 [ 3.362175 ] kernel_init_freeable+0x2aa/0x301 [ 3.362175 ] ? rest_init+0x2c0/0x2c0 [ 3.362175 ] kernel_init+0x18/0x190 [ 3.362175 ] ? rest_init+0x2c0/0x2c0 [ 3.362175 ] ? rest_init+0x2c0/0x2c0 [ 3.362175 ] ret_from_fork+0x1f/0x30 [ 3.362175 ] Kernel panic - not syncing: panic_on_warn set ... CVE-2021-47257 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2025-12-10 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ieee802154: fix null deref in parse dev addr Fix a logic error that could result in a null deref if the user sets the mode incorrectly for the given addr type.
CVE-2021-47203 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2025-12-10 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: lpfc: Fix list_add() corruption in lpfc_drain_txq() When parsing the txq list in lpfc_drain_txq(), the driver attempts to pass the requests to the adapter. If such an attempt fails, a local "fail_msg" string is set and a log message output. The job is then added to a completions list for cancellation. Processing of any further jobs from the txq list continues, but since "fail_msg" remains set, jobs are added to the completions list regardless of whether a wqe was passed to the adapter. If successfully added to txcmplq, jobs are added to both lists resulting in list corruption. Fix by clearing the fail_msg string after adding a job to the completions list. This stops the subsequent jobs from being added to the completions list unless they had an appropriate failure.
CVE-2021-47185 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2025-12-10 4.4 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tty: tty_buffer: Fix the softlockup issue in flush_to_ldisc When running ltp testcase(ltp/testcases/kernel/pty/pty04.c) with arm64, there is a soft lockup, which look like this one: Workqueue: events_unbound flush_to_ldisc Call trace: dump_backtrace+0x0/0x1ec show_stack+0x24/0x30 dump_stack+0xd0/0x128 panic+0x15c/0x374 watchdog_timer_fn+0x2b8/0x304 __run_hrtimer+0x88/0x2c0 __hrtimer_run_queues+0xa4/0x120 hrtimer_interrupt+0xfc/0x270 arch_timer_handler_phys+0x40/0x50 handle_percpu_devid_irq+0x94/0x220 __handle_domain_irq+0x88/0xf0 gic_handle_irq+0x84/0xfc el1_irq+0xc8/0x180 slip_unesc+0x80/0x214 [slip] tty_ldisc_receive_buf+0x64/0x80 tty_port_default_receive_buf+0x50/0x90 flush_to_ldisc+0xbc/0x110 process_one_work+0x1d4/0x4b0 worker_thread+0x180/0x430 kthread+0x11c/0x120 In the testcase pty04, The first process call the write syscall to send data to the pty master. At the same time, the workqueue will do the flush_to_ldisc to pop data in a loop until there is no more data left. When the sender and workqueue running in different core, the sender sends data fastly in full time which will result in workqueue doing work in loop for a long time and occuring softlockup in flush_to_ldisc with kernel configured without preempt. So I add need_resched check and cond_resched in the flush_to_ldisc loop to avoid it.
CVE-2024-12087 8 Almalinux, Archlinux, Gentoo and 5 more 20 Almalinux, Arch Linux, Linux and 17 more 2025-12-10 6.5 Medium
A path traversal vulnerability exists in rsync. It stems from behavior enabled by the `--inc-recursive` option, a default-enabled option for many client options and can be enabled by the server even if not explicitly enabled by the client. When using the `--inc-recursive` option, a lack of proper symlink verification coupled with deduplication checks occurring on a per-file-list basis could allow a server to write files outside of the client's intended destination directory. A malicious server could write malicious files to arbitrary locations named after valid directories/paths on the client.

CVE-2025-49178 1 Redhat 7 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 4 more 2025-12-09 5.5 Medium
A flaw was found in the X server's request handling. Non-zero 'bytes to ignore' in a client's request can cause the server to skip processing another client's request, potentially leading to a denial of service.
CVE-2025-49180 1 Redhat 7 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 4 more 2025-12-09 7.8 High
A flaw was found in the RandR extension, where the RRChangeProviderProperty function does not properly validate input. This issue leads to an integer overflow when computing the total size to allocate.
CVE-2025-49179 1 Redhat 7 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 4 more 2025-12-09 7.3 High
A flaw was found in the X Record extension. The RecordSanityCheckRegisterClients function does not check for an integer overflow when computing request length, which allows a client to bypass length checks.
CVE-2025-49177 1 Redhat 2 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus 2025-12-09 6.1 Medium
A flaw was found in the XFIXES extension. The XFixesSetClientDisconnectMode handler does not validate the request length, allowing a client to read unintended memory from previous requests.
CVE-2025-59089 1 Redhat 8 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Rhel Aus and 5 more 2025-12-09 5.9 Medium
If an attacker causes kdcproxy to connect to an attacker-controlled KDC server (e.g. through server-side request forgery), they can exploit the fact that kdcproxy does not enforce bounds on TCP response length to conduct a denial-of-service attack. While receiving the KDC's response, kdcproxy copies the entire buffered stream into a new buffer on each recv() call, even when the transfer is incomplete, causing excessive memory allocation and CPU usage. Additionally, kdcproxy accepts incoming response chunks as long as the received data length is not exactly equal to the length indicated in the response header, even when individual chunks or the total buffer exceed the maximum length of a Kerberos message. This allows an attacker to send unbounded data until the connection timeout is reached (approximately 12 seconds), exhausting server memory or CPU resources. Multiple concurrent requests can cause accept queue overflow, denying service to legitimate clients.
CVE-2025-59088 1 Redhat 8 Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Eus, Rhel Aus and 5 more 2025-12-09 8.6 High
If kdcproxy receives a request for a realm which does not have server addresses defined in its configuration, by default, it will query SRV records in the DNS zone matching the requested realm name. This creates a server-side request forgery vulnerability, since an attacker could send a request for a realm matching a DNS zone where they created SRV records pointing to arbitrary ports and hostnames (which may resolve to loopback or internal IP addresses). This vulnerability can be exploited to probe internal network topology and firewall rules, perform port scanning, and exfiltrate data. Deployments where the "use_dns" setting is explicitly set to false are not affected.
CVE-2025-49176 1 Redhat 7 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 4 more 2025-12-09 7.3 High
A flaw was found in the Big Requests extension. The request length is multiplied by 4 before checking against the maximum allowed size, potentially causing an integer overflow and bypassing the size check.
CVE-2024-12125 1 Redhat 1 Red Hat 3scale Amp 2025-12-09 7.5 High
A flaw was found in the 3scale Developer Portal. When creating or updating an account in the Developer Portal UI it is possible to modify fields explicitly configured as read-only or hidden, allowing an attacker to modify restricted information.
CVE-2024-3772 4 Fedoraproject, Pydantic, Pydantic Project and 1 more 4 Fedora, Pydantic, Pydantic and 1 more 2025-12-09 5.9 Medium
Regular expression denial of service in Pydanic < 2.4.0, < 1.10.13 allows remote attackers to cause denial of service via a crafted email string.
CVE-2024-8176 1 Redhat 10 Devworkspace, Discovery, Enterprise Linux and 7 more 2025-12-09 7.5 High
A stack overflow vulnerability exists in the libexpat library due to the way it handles recursive entity expansion in XML documents. When parsing an XML document with deeply nested entity references, libexpat can be forced to recurse indefinitely, exhausting the stack space and causing a crash. This issue could lead to denial of service (DoS) or, in some cases, exploitable memory corruption, depending on the environment and library usage.
CVE-2025-14104 1 Redhat 2 Enterprise Linux, Openshift 2025-12-09 6.1 Medium
A flaw was found in util-linux. This vulnerability allows a heap buffer overread when processing 256-byte usernames, specifically within the `setpwnam()` function, affecting SUID (Set User ID) login-utils utilities writing to the password database.
CVE-2025-4598 5 Debian, Linux, Oracle and 2 more 8 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Linux and 5 more 2025-12-08 4.7 Medium
A vulnerability was found in systemd-coredump. This flaw allows an attacker to force a SUID process to crash and replace it with a non-SUID binary to access the original's privileged process coredump, allowing the attacker to read sensitive data, such as /etc/shadow content, loaded by the original process. A SUID binary or process has a special type of permission, which allows the process to run with the file owner's permissions, regardless of the user executing the binary. This allows the process to access more restricted data than unprivileged users or processes would be able to. An attacker can leverage this flaw by forcing a SUID process to crash and force the Linux kernel to recycle the process PID before systemd-coredump can analyze the /proc/pid/auxv file. If the attacker wins the race condition, they gain access to the original's SUID process coredump file. They can read sensitive content loaded into memory by the original binary, affecting data confidentiality.
