CVE-2023-50269 2 Redhat, Squid-cache 6 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Aus, Rhel E4s and 3 more 2025-05-21 8.6 High
Squid is a caching proxy for the Web. Due to an Uncontrolled Recursion bug in versions 2.6 through 2.7.STABLE9, versions 3.1 through 5.9, and versions 6.0.1 through 6.5, Squid may be vulnerable to a Denial of Service attack against HTTP Request parsing. This problem allows a remote client to perform Denial of Service attack by sending a large X-Forwarded-For header when the follow_x_forwarded_for feature is configured. This bug is fixed by Squid version 6.6. In addition, patches addressing this problem for the stable releases can be found in Squid's patch archives.
CVE-2024-39471 2 Linux, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus 2025-05-21 7.1 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/amdgpu: add error handle to avoid out-of-bounds if the sdma_v4_0_irq_id_to_seq return -EINVAL, the process should be stop to avoid out-of-bounds read, so directly return -EINVAL.
CVE-2024-38600 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2025-05-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: Fix deadlocks with kctl removals at disconnection In snd_card_disconnect(), we set card->shutdown flag at the beginning, call callbacks and do sync for card->power_ref_sleep waiters at the end. The callback may delete a kctl element, and this can lead to a deadlock when the device was in the suspended state. Namely: * A process waits for the power up at snd_power_ref_and_wait() in snd_ctl_info() or read/write() inside card->controls_rwsem. * The system gets disconnected meanwhile, and the driver tries to delete a kctl via snd_ctl_remove*(); it tries to take card->controls_rwsem again, but this is already locked by the above. Since the sleeper isn't woken up, this deadlocks. An easy fix is to wake up sleepers before processing the driver disconnect callbacks but right after setting the card->shutdown flag. Then all sleepers will abort immediately, and the code flows again. So, basically this patch moves the wait_event() call at the right timing. While we're at it, just to be sure, call wait_event_all() instead of wait_event(), although we don't use exclusive events on this queue for now.
CVE-2024-35930 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat 4 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 1 more 2025-05-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: lpfc: Fix possible memory leak in lpfc_rcv_padisc() The call to lpfc_sli4_resume_rpi() in lpfc_rcv_padisc() may return an unsuccessful status. In such cases, the elsiocb is not issued, the completion is not called, and thus the elsiocb resource is leaked. Check return value after calling lpfc_sli4_resume_rpi() and conditionally release the elsiocb resource.
CVE-2024-26843 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat 4 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 1 more 2025-05-21 6 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: efi: runtime: Fix potential overflow of soft-reserved region size md_size will have been narrowed if we have >= 4GB worth of pages in a soft-reserved region.
CVE-2024-26646 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2025-05-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: thermal: intel: hfi: Add syscore callbacks for system-wide PM The kernel allocates a memory buffer and provides its location to the hardware, which uses it to update the HFI table. This allocation occurs during boot and remains constant throughout runtime. When resuming from hibernation, the restore kernel allocates a second memory buffer and reprograms the HFI hardware with the new location as part of a normal boot. The location of the second memory buffer may differ from the one allocated by the image kernel. When the restore kernel transfers control to the image kernel, its HFI buffer becomes invalid, potentially leading to memory corruption if the hardware writes to it (the hardware continues to use the buffer from the restore kernel). It is also possible that the hardware "forgets" the address of the memory buffer when resuming from "deep" suspend. Memory corruption may also occur in such a scenario. To prevent the described memory corruption, disable HFI when preparing to suspend or hibernate. Enable it when resuming. Add syscore callbacks to handle the package of the boot CPU (packages of non-boot CPUs are handled via CPU offline). Syscore ops always run on the boot CPU. Additionally, HFI only needs to be disabled during "deep" suspend and hibernation. Syscore ops only run in these cases. [ rjw: Comment adjustment, subject and changelog edits ]
CVE-2023-52749 2 Linux, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus 2025-05-21 4.7 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: spi: Fix null dereference on suspend A race condition exists where a synchronous (noqueue) transfer can be active during a system suspend. This can cause a null pointer dereference exception to occur when the system resumes. Example order of events leading to the exception: 1. spi_sync() calls __spi_transfer_message_noqueue() which sets ctlr->cur_msg 2. Spi transfer begins via spi_transfer_one_message() 3. System is suspended interrupting the transfer context 4. System is resumed 6. spi_controller_resume() calls spi_start_queue() which resets cur_msg to NULL 7. Spi transfer context resumes and spi_finalize_current_message() is called which dereferences cur_msg (which is now NULL) Wait for synchronous transfers to complete before suspending by acquiring the bus mutex and setting/checking a suspend flag.
CVE-2023-52607 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2025-05-21 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: powerpc/mm: Fix null-pointer dereference in pgtable_cache_add kasprintf() returns a pointer to dynamically allocated memory which can be NULL upon failure. Ensure the allocation was successful by checking the pointer validity.
CVE-2023-52597 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat 3 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2025-05-21 4 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: s390: fix setting of fpc register kvm_arch_vcpu_ioctl_set_fpu() allows to set the floating point control (fpc) register of a guest cpu. The new value is tested for validity by temporarily loading it into the fpc register. This may lead to corruption of the fpc register of the host process: if an interrupt happens while the value is temporarily loaded into the fpc register, and within interrupt context floating point or vector registers are used, the current fp/vx registers are saved with save_fpu_regs() assuming they belong to user space and will be loaded into fp/vx registers when returning to user space. test_fp_ctl() restores the original user space / host process fpc register value, however it will be discarded, when returning to user space. In result the host process will incorrectly continue to run with the value that was supposed to be used for a guest cpu. Fix this by simply removing the test. There is another test right before the SIE context is entered which will handles invalid values. This results in a change of behaviour: invalid values will now be accepted instead of that the ioctl fails with -EINVAL. This seems to be acceptable, given that this interface is most likely not used anymore, and this is in addition the same behaviour implemented with the memory mapped interface (replace invalid values with zero) - see sync_regs() in kvm-s390.c.
CVE-2023-52594 2 Linux, Redhat 3 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux, Rhel Eus 2025-05-21 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: ath9k: Fix potential array-index-out-of-bounds read in ath9k_htc_txstatus() Fix an array-index-out-of-bounds read in ath9k_htc_txstatus(). The bug occurs when txs->cnt, data from a URB provided by a USB device, is bigger than the size of the array txs->txstatus, which is HTC_MAX_TX_STATUS. WARN_ON() already checks it, but there is no bug handling code after the check. Make the function return if that is the case. Found by a modified version of syzkaller.
